  1. All these pictures were donated by a friend of the family that was handling Anna Elizabeth Kuehl Huffman’s estate. I think she was the last of her family.
We had a large box full of pictures and items we kept stored in the archive room until I had a chance to go through them. Working with the various items I got a good picture and genealogy of the family. Mrs. Huffman’s parents were John Louis and Anna (Pearce) Kuehl. The family lived just north of 700 W on the road to Wheeler.
John Louis ‘ parents were John W. and Katie Wise Kuehl. Katie Wise was related to two infants we recently found were buried in James Cemetery: Roxanna and Dudley Wise. And her sister, Sarah Margaret was married to Clarence Eugene Fifield. Most of these family members are buried in McCool Cemetery.
On Mrs. Huffman’s mother’s side are her grandparents John & Elizabeth (Foster) Pearce. His parents were Michael and Margaret Jane Dinwiddie Pearce. This is the first time I heard this name and the Dinwiddie settlement is named after this family located near Lowell.
